Casa Azafranes nestled in the Andalusian hillside

B&B · Arenas, Axarquía, Andalusia

Casa
Azafranes

A hillside finca above the olive groves. Five rooms, a pool, and a long view south to the sea.

Arenas, Axarquía

The Finca on the Hill

Casa Azafranes sits at 430 metres above the village of Arenas, in the Axarquía, the inland comarca east of Málaga that most people drive straight through on their way to the coast. Their loss.

From the terrace you look south over olive groves and almond trees, past the white rooftops of the village, to a thin blue line of Mediterranean on the horizon. On a still morning you can hear the church bell in Arenas.

The beaches are thirty minutes away. Frigiliana, Comares, the Alhambra, all within reach. But most of our guests end up staying on the terrace longer than they planned.
